The 14-Megawatt (7+7 MW) “Tabiat 1” and “Tabiat 2” solar power plants were officially inaugurated in Zarandieh County, Markazi Province, by Takvin Energy Development Company, a subsidiary of the Tabiat Makan Group.
The solar site has an annual generation capacity of 27.6 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) and is connected to the national grid via an 800-meter double-circuit 20-kilovolt transmission line.
With a total investment of 3.3 trillion IRR (approximately 3,300 billion rials), the project was completed in less than four months.
By reducing natural gas consumption by approximately 11 million cubic meters, saving around 9 million liters of water compared to thermal power plants, and cutting tens of thousands of tons of carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide emissions, the project plays a vital role in environmental protection and energy resource conservation.
